About Us

Local relationships. Connected expertise. Stronger infrastructure.

Why we exist

Mobility infrastructure is becoming more complex and more critical. Delivering safe, reliable systems requires more than equipment. It requires expertise, coordination, and trust.

Today, that trust lives locally. It lives in the engineer who has answered a city's calls for twenty years. In the supplier relationship that holds when a project gets hard. In the field crew that knows what an intersection needs before they arrive.

We are not here to replace any of that. We are here to connect it.

Viant Traffic Solutions is the holding company for a network of independent operating companies that have spent decades earning the trust of the agencies, contractors, and partners who keep the country moving. Each one stays rooted where it has always been. What changes is what sits behind them.

How we operate

A federation, not a consolidation.

We have seen the alternative. Companies that centralize too aggressively and erode the trust they paid to acquire, or stay so fragmented that the value of being together never reaches the customer.

We are doing neither.

Each operating company in the Viant network remains embedded in its market. Each relationship remains intact. Local leadership keeps the calls, the calendar, and the customer. What we add is what only a network can: deeper expertise drawn from across the system, broader capability when a project demands more than one team can offer alone, and the orchestration required to deliver larger and more complex work with consistency.

The result is a system that can do more. Support larger, more complex projects. Deliver more consistent outcomes. Provide greater value to the partners and customers who rely on us.

This is infrastructure built on relationships, strengthened by expertise.

What we do

We work at the level of systems, not parts.

Our companies design, supply, install, integrate, and service the equipment that governs how vehicles, pedestrians, and freight move through American roadways. Signals, controllers, cabinets, ITS hardware, signs, and the integration work that holds them together. But the work is bigger than the equipment.

What we deliver is uptime, predictability, and accountability. A signal that holds. An intersection that performs. A project that finishes on time, with one team to call when something needs attention.

Viant brings together an alliance of operating companies. Each company has its own brand, leadership, and customer relationships. Together, they form an orchestrated network with national reach and local depth.

The road ahead

Future-ready infrastructure.

The way people and goods move is changing faster than at any point in a generation. Vehicles now talk to the infrastructure around them. Signals adapt to real-time conditions instead of fixed timers. Roadways are becoming data networks, and the global smart mobility market is projected to grow from roughly $98 billion in 2025 to more than $570 billion by 2035. This is not a distant future. It is being built into the roads right now.

That future will not be won in a lab. It will be installed at the intersection, by the companies who already know every cabinet, controller, and corridor in their region. Connected vehicle communication, adaptive signal intelligence, and data-driven traffic management only matter when they are engineered to work in the real world and maintained for the long haul. That is the work Viant's companies have always done.

Our role is to make sure the systems communities depend on are ready for what comes next, connecting local expertise with the engineering, scale, and continuity to move the industry forward. The road ahead runs through the infrastructure we build and maintain today, and we intend to keep it open.

We are not here to disrupt the system. We are here to keep it moving.
